The Piano is a tasselled shawl in deadstock Poly-Satin, finished with tassels.
Deadstock is fabric left over from other makers’ production, given a second life. In the 1930s, backless gowns were the fashion and the shawl was the answer, thrown over the shoulders as the night cooled. Wear it draped, knotted or belted.
