The Princess Slip is a silk slip in lightweight silk charmeuse, made to be worn next to the skin.
The bias-cut dresses of the 1930s left no room for underwear lines, so the slip underneath had to be as smooth as the dress on top. The silk is fine enough to turn almost sheer in certain light. Wear it alone, or under either Peignoir.
